Known simply as “D’,” D’Alton Holder's knifemaking career spanned almost 60 years, he served decades on the Knifemakers’ Guild board of directors, and enjoyed almost 20 years as a member of the BLADE Magazine Cutlery Hall Of Fame®. Holder was a consummate maker of fixed-blade knives, especially hunters. This colorful piece is constructed with rings of turquoise, bone, and other precious materials native to his southwestern heritage.
