Geovid Pro AB+
The pioneer rangefinder with new, innovative technology
The Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ is a masterpiece for hunters and long-range shooters. When every second counts, the Leica Geovid Pro 10 x 42 AB+ displays ballistic functions up to the maximum.
When every second counts, the Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ displays ballistics correction values up to maximum range. In less than 0.3 seconds, the on-board computer outputs the measured distance, plus – a brand-new feature – the probability of an exact hit. The Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ boasts absolute top values in the key areas for hunters and long-range shooters: first-class optics for greater detail, sharpness, contrast and color fidelity, high-precision rangefinding up to 2,950 meters, and the Applied Ballistics® Elite ballistics program pre-installed. Thanks to close cooperation with the ballistics software specialist Applied Ballistics®, the new Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ also features the world’s first Shot Probability Analysis. This function displays the hit probability based on ambient parameters. The Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ thus provides all the prerequisites for an accurate and ethical shot.
Benefits at a glance:
- highest optical performance
- highly precise laser technology
- maximum ballistics functions with Applied Ballistics Elite®
- with Shot Probability Analysis
- easy and rapid handling
Flagship and real all-rounder:
The new Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ is the ultimate all-rounder among Leica laser-rangefinder binoculars. This powerful model shines with highest performance in all areas. Fully-equipped, and with a maximum range of up to 2,950 meters, it caters to long-range shooters, alpine hunters, and hunters abroad. Thanks to the integrated ballistics program Applied Ballistics Elite® , the Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ can calculate point of impact “out of the box”, even in very complex shooting situations right up to maximum range. With Bluetooth® connectivity and a link to the Leica Ballistics App on the smartphone, the Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ is completely at home in the digital world.
Bright, crystal-clear optics for superior observation.
The Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ represents highest optical performance – thanks to excellent workmanship, superior materials, and extremely efficient reduction of stray light and reflections. The Geovid uses the exclusive Perger-Porro prisms developed by Leica, with a special coating on the prism surfaces. By delivering rich detail, sharpness, contrast, and color fidelity, the optics guarantee unique observation moments and reliable identification of game. The higher 10x magnification is suitable for very long shots and, in combination with the wide field of view, offers maximum safety into the early twilight hours.
Shot Probability Analysis.
With the Leica Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+, for the first time, Shot Probability Analysis technology has been integrated in laser-rangefinder binoculars. An exclusive result of the cooperation between Leica Sport Optics and the leading manufacturer of ballistics software: Applied Ballistics®. This involves calculating the likelihood of actually hitting the desired target point. The reliability of the four main parameters – distance, wind speed, rifle precision, muzzle velocity of the bullet – are evaluated. From this, their influence on possible deviations from the optimum shot are calculated. The result of the Shot Probability Analysis appears as a percentage within the field of view. This allows the shooter to decide quickly and safely whether to take the shot, or whether it’s better to improve the shooting conditions further.
